HOW TO KNOW IF YOU HAVE EMOTIONAL FOOD CRAVINGS

I was SO excited to share with you my strategies to reduce cravings, and I’m so glad to receive so many comments, questions and to see that you’re excited too. One of the questions I’ve received, and maybe you’re wondering too is:

What does mindfulness have to do with cravings?

And the answer is: EVERYTHING!

Remember there are the 2 types of cravings: physical food cravings and emotional food cravings. Most of our cravings come from emotional food cravings. How do you know if you have emotional food cravings? If this is you, then you have emotional food cravings:

I eat when I’m stressed

I eat out of boredom

I have cravings before my period

I don’t think I have cravings, yet my food choices are not ideal

I eat when I’m sad

I need to have something sweet after I eat

When I’m stressed I don’t eat

All of these are examples of emotional food cravings, and they can all be tackled with the mindfulness exercises I taught you in my last blog post.

If you want to eliminate your cravings for good and are ready to transform your health, I’ll have an offer for you. The offer will only be available for a limited time so stay tuned by joining my email list.

Now over to you: What have you tried in the past to control your cravings? Let me know on Instagram. Really, I would love to hear from you.
